Between ages 2 – 10, our kids are missing a critical thing in their education – an introduction to the joy of healthy living and an appreciation for the beautiful things in this world. At Art & Smart, we teach these kids between the ages of 2 – 10 that healthy living is easy and fun and we show them how to see the beautiful things all around them.
We operate the school with a fun atmosphere that emphasizes the excitement of learning new things. We always try to have fun by learning to appreciate the finer things in life and sharing these things with out friends.
We know from experience that kids want to live a healthy life, but they really don’t know how to do it. We try to continually reinforce the value of good exercise, of good diet, and of stopping to see the beauty in the world to help us deal with our stress. We always have fresh fruit to snack on and always have pretty things on the walls with special music.
Every year we present to our parents what we learned for the year. Children perform dance program and receive trophies for their great job!
Ms. Luba is the best. We are very happy with both our sons progress in her yoga and hip hop classes.She makes it fun for the kids- letting them move and groove to their favorite music while learning. She also teaches them to be calm and considerate of others. Our 4 year old is currently in her music program learning to play Old Mac Donald on the keyboard. These are great afterschool programs that I highly recommend. At the end of each session there is a presentation that is simply adorable.
Ms. Luba – The Yoga, Art and Music Showcase last week was just wonderful! Thank you for preparing the programs so we could see each of the events planned for the showcase. I was SO impressed by all the kids’ enthusiasm, collaboration and dedication. All the kids are so talented! I didn’t know my little girl could partner dance with a boy! What a wonderful sight to behold seeing her with a big smile on her face the entire evening. Thanks to you and all the Art & Smart teachers for mentoring our children in ways they will remember forever!”

You know when your child enjoys doing something so much that it permeates every hour of even the most regular of days. Giselle would find an opportunity to show off what she was learning in every corner of the day – getting ready for school, just before bed time, in the yard, all the time, dancing and posing – with the biggest of smiles on her face. Thank you for enriching her life in a special way.
Simar had so much fun and learned in Miss Luba’s class. She loved to do dance and yoga!
I just wanted to say thank you for helping Stela come out of her shell. She is a Joyous little girl but tends to be shy away from new things – but yoga, dance, and music have really tapped into her inner star 🙂 I believe that art, music and movement – whether that be yoga, dance etc.- are intensely tied to our souls, well-being and growth. your classes have helped Stela grow beyond our expectations-and she loves you 🙂 your dedication, devotion and passion comes shines through their little faces You’re an inspiration!
